Have you ever had so much work to do that although you fiercely needed to use the restroom, you simply could not break to do so...?
That was me this afternoon at work.
How things got weird.After I kindly lent a pen to a co-worker, they tossed it to me as I sat with my boss, both of us working feverishly........Lunging forward in a desperate attempt to catch the pen, I managed to find the inner strength to not pee myself.
THAT is something I consider nothing less than remarkable!
I'm sure everyone was glad you found that strength lol! Just be careful because back in like the 1800's some guy in one of the kings courts died because he held his pee in for too long. True story. It can happen. So next time you can say, I have to go to the restroom, MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!
ReplyDeleteI think the funniest part was that my boss was so oblivious to what happened that she was silent for a minute and then asked, "oh did you slip on something?" LOL
ReplyDelete...I didn't know how to explain to her that I had lunged over her side desk trying to catch a pen that another team director had tossed to me as we worked in her office next to eachother. hahaha
I also want to give credit to "remarkable" Dom for getting me a McD's happy meal for my late-late-lunch =) It definitely made me happy! He even pointed out "look it comes with a toy!" hahaha! LOVE IT!
